Here you will find information about your online ticket purchase and visit.

1. Online ticket sales and admission

  • Why do I need to buy my ticket in advance online?

    So that you can plan your visit and are guaranteed admission to the exhibition. This is why we advise that you order tickets in advance. Do you have a discount code or voucher? If so, you can activate it at the online ticket shop. Select the ‘Other valid admission card’ ticket option.

  • I have a card that grants me free admission to the museum. Do I still need to buy a ticket online?

    Yes. Because we work with time slots, you are required to reserve a date and time slot in advance. If you have a discount card, order a free ticket for the card in question. That way, you are guaranteed access to the museum on the date you wish to visit. Remember to bring the card, together with your ticket, with you on your visit. Your ticket and card will be checked at the entrance to the museum and exhibition.

  • Why do I need to select a date and time slot?

    Doing so will secure you a ticket to the exhibition. We limit the number of visitors admitted per time slot to a maximum. Selecting a date and time slot also saves you from having to purchase a ticket from the Het Noordbrabants Museum ticket desk and potentially queuing up.

  • Is it also possible to buy a ticket from the ticket desk?

    Yes. Tickets will also be on sale at the ticket desk, provided they have not sold out online. Unfortunately we are unable to make any guarantees as to the availability of tickets at the ticket desk. We therefore recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance.

  • What if I have problems ordering tickets online?

  • Can I exchange my purchased tickets or get a refund?

    Purchased tickets cannot be refunded and / or exchanged. Tickets are valid for the date and time slot selected only.

  • Can I purchase group tickets?

    The ticket shop will allow you to purchase up to a maximum of 15 tickets of each ticket type at once. Visiting as part of a group larger than 15 people? If so, you will need to place a new order.

2. Exhibitions and activities

  • What are the opening hours of the exhibition Van Gogh’s Inner Circle?

    The museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays between 11:00 and 17:00. The museum is closed on Mondays.

  • Is the museum open on public holidays?

    The museum is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

  • What does my ticket allow me to visit?

    Your ticket grants you admission to the exhibition Van Gogh's Inner Circle on the selected date and time. In addition, the ticket gives you access to the other exhibitions at Het Noordbrabants Museum and the museum's permanent collection. You can of course also visit the MuseumBrasserie and MuseumShop. If you’re interested in visiting Design Museum Den Bosch, you will need to purchase a separate ticket via the Design Museum’s website or ticket desk.

  • Is the Het Noordbrabants Museum permanent collection also on display?

    Yes. You will also be able to view the permanent collection of Het Noordbrabants Museum, which includes the presentation The Story of Brabant. The Romans , however, is closed due to renovations.

3. Audio tour / Tour / Lecture

  • Why do you advise ordering an audio tour via the ticket shop?

    If you want to learn more about Vincent Van Gogh’s friends, family and models this in-depth tour (approx. 45 minutes) will guide you through the exhibition.

  • Which languages is the audio tour available in?

    The audio tour is available in Dutch, English, German and French.

  • Is it also possible to order the audio tour via the ticket shop at a later time?

    The audio tour is not available to order via the online ticket shop as a standalone item (only in combination with tickets). If you already have a ticket and should later decide you want an audio tour, provided these are still available, you can purchase audio tours at the museum itself.

  • Where do I collect the (ordered) audio tour?

    The audio tours are available at the audio tour collection point located after the exhibition ticket control. Here, you can collect your ordered audio tour by presenting your ‘Audio Tour’ ticket. You can select your preferred language at this time.

  • Is the audio tour also downloadable as an app?

    The audio tour is not available for download.

  • Is there an information booklet?

    Free information booklets are available at the exhibition in Dutch, English, German and French. This is a handy booklet containing information on the exhibition items.

  • Can I book a tour?

    It is not possible to book a tour for this exhibition. Visiting the exhibition as part of a group? If so, you can book an introduction or lecture by emailing
