Here you will find information about your online ticket purchase and visit.

1. Online ticket sales and admission

  • Why do I need to buy my ticket with time slot in advance online?

    Because of the coronavirus pandemic and the rules imposed by the government, we are obliged to allow only a limited number of visitors into the museum. By buying a ticket with time slot in advance, we are able to regulate the number of visitors this assures your safety.

  • Which payment methods can I use at the ticket shop?

    iDEAL, VISA, MasterCard, giropay and Bancontact.

  • Can I still purchase online tickets on the day of my visit?

    Yes, this is possible via our online ticket shop or at the ticket desk in the museum. However, we do advise you to purchase a ticket with time slot in advance in our online ticket shop. That way we are able to regulate the number of visitors and this assures you of acces to the museum during your preferred time slot.

  • Can I get my ticket scanned on my mobile?

    Tickets can be scanned on mobiles and tablets. However, we do kindly ask you to print the ticket. Therefore the physical contact in the museum will be limited. Please note: each ticket is on a separate PDF.

  • Is there any surcharge?

    There is no surcharge.

  • Why is it only possible to purchase eight tickets?

    You are only allowed to visit the museum with more than one person if you are part of a household. Hereby applies a maximum of eight people per household.

  • Can I exchange my purchased tickets or get a refund?

    Purchased tickets cannot be refunded and / or exchanged. Tickets are valid for the date and time slot selected only.

  • Is it also possible to buy a ticket at the ticket desk in the museum?

    Yes, you can also purchase your ticket at the ticket desk. It is not mandatory to purchase a ticket with time slot in advance. Nevertheless, we advise you to do so. That way we are able to regulate the number of visitors and this assures you of acces to the museum during your preferred time slot. We are also able to send you practical information in advance.

  • What if I have problems ordering tickets online?

2. Exhibitions and activities

  • What are the opening hours of the museum?

    The museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays between 11:00 and 17:00. The museum is closed on Mondays.

  • What does my ticket allow me to visit?

    Your ticket gives you access to the exhibitions and a large part of the permanent collection in Het Noordbrabants Museum. The MuseumBrasserie is partially open because of the coronavirus pandemic. If you’re interested in visiting Design Museum Den Bosch, you will need to purchase a separate ticket via the Design Museum’s ticketshop.

  • Is the permanent collection of Het Noordbrabants Museum also on display?

    You can visit a large part of the permanent collection of Het Noordbrabants Museum, which includes the presentation The Story of Brabant. The Palace rooms on the first floor, however, are closed.

  • How far in advance / at what time do I need to be at the museum?

    We kindly ask you to arrive just a few minutes before the start of your time slot. If you arrive early, you can wait, with appropriate distance, in front of the museum. If you arrive late, you can join the end of the queue.

  • Is there a (secure) cloakroom?

    There is a free-of-charge, secure cloakroom in the form of lockers. Coats and any bags larger than A4 format must be deposited here.

  • Can baby carriers, buggies and prams be taken into the museum?

    Coats, bags larger than A4-format, rucksacks or baby carriers worn on the back are not permitted at the museum and must be deposited at the free, secure lockers. Small (hand)bags, baby carriers worn on the front, prams and buggies are permitted.

  • What items will I need to hand over before entering?

    It is not permitted to enter with a kick scooter, skates, skateboards, Nordic walking poles, selfie sticks, tripods or balloons. These will need to be left behind at the secure cloakroom.

  • Can I take photos or videos in the museum?

    Yes, you can take photos and videos.

3. Groups

  • Can I visit the museum with a group?

    Guided tours with a maximum of 10 people are available again. During the guided tour, we keep 1,5 meter distance between the different households.

  • Can I book a tour?

    Yes, it is possible to book a guided tour for a maximum of 10 people. Does the group exist of multiple households? In that case we keep 1,5 meter distance between the different households. Read more about the current guided tours here.

4. Disabled access

  • Does the museum have disabled access?

    Het Noordbrabants Museum is accessible to visitors with limited mobility. There are disabled toilets, and lifts make all museum galleries accessible to wheelchair users. Temporary there are no wheelchairs or walking-sticks available. Sorry for the inconvenience. Read more about the possibilities and amenities here.
